Through a PAHEF grant to the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), PAHO partnered with the Governmental Ethics Office of Puerto Rico's Center for the Development of Ethical Thought to publish the fourth issue of the Ethos Governmental Journal (Revista Ethos Gubernamental aka as Ethos IV ) whose authors are decision-makers at national, local, and international levels and top researchers and leaders in ethics. This issue is available in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese—the official languages of PAHO.
This collection brings to light the need for governments, international organizations, the private sector, and society to reconsider the fixed beliefs that are now driving decision-making. Further, standards, organizations, and policies focused on serving local needs must be developed and adhere to global standards. Development of these local standards, organizations, and policies must be based on viable, adaptable, and development programs.
