Global Links: Donated Equipment

Global Links, a US NGO that has donated over $110,000,000 worth of goods to more than 70 countries since 1989, has benefited from a 2-year capacity building grant provided by PAHEF.

Global Links has programs in many of the poorest countries in Latin America and the Caribbean: Honduras, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Bolivia, Jamaica and Haiti.

Through establishment of long-term medical-aid programs, Global Links strives to increase the capacity of hospitals to provide adequate care to their patients.

In each country, Global Links works closely with the local office of PAHO/WHO and the Ministry of Health to select recipient institutions, and then works with hospital staff to assess their most critical needs.
