Strengthening Radiology in Dominica

Working directly with the Government of Dominica, and 5 professionals in the field of radiology, bioengineering, and business management, PAHEF, with the Beverly Foundation, is strengthening the radiology services of this island nation.

• A CT scanner has been purchased and installed.
• 4 radiographic technicians are in training.
• The state university is introducing a course in biomedical engineering.
• Improved mammography services are now available to women.
